Breakthrough: Students Teaching Students is a tuition-free program in which talented high school and college students teach middle school students with limited educational opportunities the academic, organizational and social skills they will need to succeed in competitive colleges.

Description

Breakthrough Santa Fe serves high potential, highly motivated 6th-12th graders from the Santa Fe Public School System. During middle school, the students attend 2 rigorous summers of academic enrichment and attend an afterschool program during the school year. During high school, students and families receive one-on-one college counseling, and group services including college tours, ACT prep classes, financial aid workshops, and academic tutoring.
