Description
Camp Easterseals UCP Virginia is located about forty minutes north of Roanoke in the beautiful Appalachian Mountains. The camp offers children and adults with disabilities the opportunity to enjoy fun and challenging activities in a unique and supportive camp atmosphere. Our campers have a variety of disabilities including autism, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, and several other physical and mental disabilities. Physical, occupational, and speech therapy camp sessions are also offered for kids/teens during our summer sessions. Activities at camp include horseback riding, swimming, climbing wall, zip line, archery, canoeing, dancing, crafts, and more!
During the fall and spring Camp Easterseals UCP offers weekend respites. These are designed to offer campers and care takers a break from their daily lives while giving campers an opportunities to have fun participating in camp activities.
