The Million Mom March is a national, grassroots, chapter based movement of mothers and others from all over the country who have joined together to demand sensible gun laws that protect our children. We are mothers and others who have lost children, husbands, siblings and friends to gun trauma. We are mothers and others who have lost no one ... and never want to. We are split into several committees; membership, lobbying, victim resources, gun policy/research, youth committee. We are dedicated to our mission, and work together to pass legislation, support victims, and broaden the awareness of our issues. We do hard work, we get disapoited every day, and we keep working. We like to be challenged, and we are. This organization is not for the faint of heart or soul. We share, we love, we cry, we dream, we lose, but we do it together, and that makes us strong. If you are looking for a challenge and you never give up, this could be where you belong. Sounds pretty serious eh? Well we have a lot of fun too. We are all friends, and we have fun at our meetings and functions.
