Mission Statement

At HighRise, our goal is to ensure that funding and attention are never barriers to students in their college search and career. We work hard to provide the attention, experience, expertise, and dedication necessary to guide our students through the college selection, application, and funding processes, preparing them for the many challenges that are to come.

Description

HighRise is a nationwide non-profit which relies on the expertise, dedication, and experience of its volunteers, who act as both directors of the organization and mentors. HighRise mentors work tirelessly in support of the low-income students they advise, ensuring that they have every available opportunity to compete equally for admission to the most selective colleges and universities.

Our program is anchored in the year-round services of volunteers, most of whom are working professionals or graduate students. We are proud of the program and its results: helping deserving students achieve admission to competitive schools which best fit their abilities and desires the best.
