Mission Statement

The mission of the AFAC organization is to provide pro-active leadership and commitment to locating supplemental services, establishing support groups, and providing adequate, accessible, affordable and appropriate care services for individuals suffering from the Alzheimer's Disease and related brain disorders and for their respective families and care givers.

Description

AFAC is a publicly supported, 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization. It is an autonomous, local organization managed by twenty-five directors with the objective of providing care services for the Alzheimer's diseased person and their care givers. AFAC's near term goal is to build an Alzheimer's day care center for Laurens County, Georgia.
