Mission Statement

The Philadelphia Center's mission is to help increase the community's awareness of HIV/AIDS, to reduce the transmission rate, and to compassioinately support those infected and affected by HIV/AIDS in northwest Louisiana.

Description

The Philadelphia Center is the only HIV/AID resource center for the 9-parish region of northwest Louisiana.

We offer counseling, testing, and referral services in conjunction with a variety of outreach and prevention projects in our community. Additionally, we offer an array of supports for people infected and affected by HIV/AIDS:

Mercy Center (permanent supportive housing program), case management, support groups, mental health counseling, substance abuse counseling, transportation assistance, housing/emergency assistance, medication assistance, advocacy, food pantry.

We currently have our main office in Shreveport, with a satellite office in Natchitoches.
