Mission Statement

To rescue, shelter and find safe, loving homes for sick, injured, abused or abandoned animals while upholding and enforcing animal cruelty laws in Portage County, Ohio. Also to educate our community on the social responsiblity associated with pet ownership and work to reduce pet overpopulation through spay/neuter programs.

Description

The Portage APL is a 501 (c) 3, non-profit charity. All programs and operations are made possible by donations received from the general public, community organizations, local businesses, and foundations.
