Our mission: Responding to the Gospel, Lutheran Social Services of Illinois brings healing, justice and wholeness to people and communities.

Description

In Freeport, IL, we currently are running two programs; LifeBalance and Legacy Corps.

  • LifeBalance is a senior wellness program that targets five areas. Those areas are Spiritual, Emotional, Physical, Intellectual, and Social. We are dedicated to working with seniors in making their lives better. We teach classes in many facilities in the Stephenson County area that focus on balance, resistance, strength, nutrition, and healthy living habits.
  • Legacy Corps is a free program offered to seniors in the area that are in need of assistance and socialization. This program is designed to help seniors stay at home longer and give relief to their caregivers.
