Westminster Village works together with senior adults, each living their own life story, motivated by an individual sense of purpose and encouraged by community, in a secure and supportive environment.
Village Mission Statement
Westminster Village is a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) with a vision of working together with older adults. Adults over the age of 62 from diverse backgrounds and interests find support, encouragement, stimulation, and security as they pursue their lives. This unique community is supported by an active residential advisory council, a supportive foundation, and a local governing Board of Directors.
Westminster Village provides a variety of living alternatives including individual homes, apartments, assisted living, and nursing care. These living accommodations are a part of a self-contained campus which includes dining, basic shopping and banking, and activity and entertainment venues. The beautiful 34-acre campus is located close to shopping, restaurants, Purdue University, health care providers, and the government center of West Lafayette. The Village grounds are connected to the extensive walking-trail system of the city.
Westminster Village has a long history of supporting high quality and continually developing services and programs. Services and programs include:
- Participation in community events and affairs

- Spiritual programs
- Physical activity and wellness programs
The Village values resident leadership and participation in the Resident Council activities, in governance advisory roles, and through various volunteer opportunities.
Westminster Village Volunteer Program Mission Statement
The mission of the Westminster Village Volunteer Program is to effectively recruit, train and place volunteers to ensure maximum satisfaction and efficiency towards continual improvement of Westminster Village and the Greater Lafayette community. Furthermore, the program will work to promote the Westminster Village community as well as our volunteers such that all members of the community, residents, volunteers and employees, receive lasting benefits from the efforts put forth by volunteers.

Our Community
Westminster Village is a continuing care provider, which means, once residents move into their new homes, they never have to leave again. By offering custom built homes, apartment-style living, assisted living and comprehensive care facilities, Westminster Village welcomes new residents at any point in their lives.
Westminster Village strives to foster community spirit, facilitate new opportunities for relationships and purpose and encourage individual growth. Westminster Village is a community of people united by a common interest in living each day of life with expectation and excitement.
In addition to the services offered to promote a maintenance-free lifestyle, Westminster Village offers a wide variety of programming and additional services to our residents. Those include, but are not limited to, a multitude of recreation areas and opportunities, convenience services, activity planning and coordination, wellness services, transportation to area events, and others.
Volunteering at the Village
Westminster Village Volunteer Corps is comprised of a diverse group of selfless individuals who are dedicated to improving others' quality of life through their actions, words and deeds. The Village welcomes volunteers in-residence as well as volunteers from the surrounding communities. We aim to support volunteers in their personal endeavors, to include, but not limited to, enhancing skills, complementing educational experiences, developing meaningful relationships and promoting self confidence and respect.
