Mission Statement

The mission of Mending Kids International is to organize, finance and provide life-changing medical care to children worldwide.

Mending Kids International believes that all children have the right to quality medical care. Seeking treatment in many countries can be discouraging. Often it simply isn't available. That's where we come in. MKI offers hope to children around the world by arranging donated medical treatment for those who suffer from serious yet surgically correctable medical conditions.

Description

In some countries around the world, there are children who are simply too ill to wait for medical care. Mending Kids International arranges to bring these children to southern California to receive donated surgical care from some of the top pediatric surgeons in the country. MKI also assembles teams of surgeons, nurses and technicians to travel to countries on a specialized mission where many children suffering from the same condition are treated.
