A wide variety of services and programs are offered by the Office of Aging and its subcontracted agencies. Some services have eligility criteria and fees.

The agency, established in 1974, receives funding from the Pennsylvania State Department of Aging and the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare. Many aging programs are supported by the Pennsylvania lottery. An Advisory Council works with the agency on numerous aging issues.
