Lutheran Social Services of the South provides help, healing, and hope to children, elderly and the poor in the name of Jesus Christ.

Description

LSS is a 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation supported by private donations and fees collected for services. Partial funding for some programs is provided through the Texas Department of Protective and Regulative Services. LSS ministries include health care and retirement centers, children's residential treatment centers, foster care, adoption, disaster response and emergency assistance. Sixty percent of our clients are minorities and 73% live below the poverty level.
