Mission

The mission of Redding City Ballet is to operate a resident ballet company for Shasta County with performances of the highest quality consistent with its available financial resources; to develop and present to a broad based audience concert dance that is classical, contemporary and innovative in nature; and to increase accessibility to the arts through educational outreach programs, lectures and performances for the schools of the northstate area.

Programs and Outreach

Redding City Ballet is a regional company that currently performs twice seasonally. Our outreach program involves over 900 participating school children each year. Our most recent endeavor being two of our company members choreographing for Stars Theatre, a Shasta County theater group created for mentally and physically challenged actors funded through Far Northern Regional Center. In addition, RCB's Nutcracker has special showings during school hours of performance week for local schools.
