Communities In Schools is a drop-out prevention program servicing elementary, middle and high school students. We target at-risk and economically disadvantaged students. We offer programs in the schools that fall under six basic components: Supportive Guidance, Health & Human Services, Parental Involvement, Pre-Employment Activities, Enrichment and Educational Enhancement. These services are delivered in and out of the classroom. We believe that every child needs and deserves: a personal, one-on-one relationship with a caring adult, a safe place to learn and grow, a marketable skill to use upon graduation, a chance to give back to peers and to their community and a healthy start.
