Description

Youth Performance Foundation, Inc. (YPF) is a Houston based 501 (c) 3 non-profit that is structured solely for charitable and educational purposes, targeting the interests of teens and youth. Founded in Houston (2005), YPF has developed extensive ties to the Houston / Harris County communities, schools and businesses. Our programs have attracted participants and patrons from other cities and counties throughout the state and beyond.

For 2011 our focus is on the Obesity / Overweight epidemic facing America's youth (adults). All projects and initiatives will have the same core theme to join the F.O.O.D. (Fight Obesity / Overweight Disorders) campaign. YPF has partnered with the University of Houston Texas Obesity Research Center (TORC) and First Lady and President Obama's "Presidential Active Lifestyle Challenge. Of course YPF will express the significance of entertainment, sports and the arts in making this initiative a wide-spread success.
