Mission Statement

Bringing volunteers and communities together to improve the homes and lives of our neighbors in need

Description

Rebuilding Together Central Ohio is a volunteer driven initiative that serves the community through the Safe at Home program and the Tool Library.

The Safe at Home program provides emergency home repairs and safety modifications to low-income senior and disabled homeowners.

The Tool Library offers tools and knowledge to neighbors and non-profit partners, giving them the resources to maintain homes and revitalize their communities.

  • National Rebuilding Day- NRD is our signature annual event. This event occurs in April and is the culmination of a year of planning, evaluating, training, organizing, and mobilizing hundreds of community volunteers. We involve local businesses, community organizations, and volunteer groups in home repair and promoting vibrant neighborhoods.

  • Safe at Home- RTCO offers emergency repairs and home modifications for qualifying homeowners. Many of these installations are by our "Mod Squad"; a team of skilled volunteers dedicated to providing free services to help our senior and disabled homeowners stay safe and independent

  • Tool Library- Open to Columbus homeowners, tenants, landlords and non-profit partners. We loan over 200 types of hand and power tools to members proving them with the equipment they need for home repairs and community revitalization.
