Description

Good Samaritan Luther Manor, a long-term care facility, cares for 114 residents. Luther Manor employs over 120 people of whom 66 are certified nursing assistants and 24 are nurses who provide direct and hands-on care to its residents. Luther Manor provides many services to its residents including: Medicare Certified; Hospice Care; Alzheimer's Unit/Dementia Care; Respite Care; Nutrition Counseling; Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy; Restorative/Rehabilitative Nursing; Support Groups; Spiritual Care; Planned Activities/Outings; Beauty/Barber Shop. Luther Manor offers comfort and caring in an environment of security, respect and dignity. The Christian mission of sharing God's love in word and deed guides each day's activities.

Luther Manor began serving the needs of the Sioux Falls community 40 years ago. Under the leadership of pastors and lay people of the Sioux Falls circuit of the Evangelical Lutheran Church, local church members and organizations raised money for a building fund. The doors opened on July 2, 1962. In 1984 Luther Manor became part of the family of the Good Samaritan Society.
