JSC SERVE's goals are to:

Support effective leadership to promote positive social change

Enhance student leadership and increase the student voice in the development of service and service learning programs

Promote increased faculty development in curriculum-based service

Expand and enhance community partnerships in the assessment of community needs and the development of collaborative community service projects

Description

The SERVE program at Johnson State College offers thoughtfully organized direct-service opportunities that address specific social issues and community needs. We believe that service learning promotes lifelong active citizenship, where community becomes a priority in values and life choices.
