Description

The Beverly Fund is an all volunteer organization where 100% of every dollar goes towards the cause of eradicating lung cancer. Our programs include: Teach Tobacco Awareness which gives educators downloadable lesson plans and free teaching materials to make learning fun for youth; Remember November(R) a lung cancer awareness month national campaign; National Radon Action Month where we give free radon test kits to the public to test their homes and protect their families from radon which is the second leading cause of lung cancer; Discover the Truth About Lung Cancer a project that features stories and photos from nonsmokers or former smokers who quit decades ago who got lung cancer. We also host a variety of fundraisers such as Kites for Cancer Awareness, Volleyball Open, and we are currently working on the Lung Plunge swimming event. We are always looking for new volunteers to help us spread the word about lung cancer, the #1 cancer killer in the U.S. for over 22 years.
