Mission Statement

To provide adults with quality educational programs to increase their English language skills of speaking, understanding, reading, and writing and to learn basic life, employability, and civic skills. Our programs empower participants to become effective family members, workers, citizens, and community members who can make a positive difference within these spheres.

Description

To achieve its mission, NNLC provides quality competency-based instruction in English as a second language, adult basic skills, pre-GED, and workforce development.

A great experience tutoring and teaching adults! The students were eager to learn and it was fun to think of creative ways to explain math. It definitely felt like I made a difference when one of my students passed his exam and was able to get his GED.
