BRIGHAM AND WOMEN'S HOSPITAL Located in the Longwood Medical Area of Boston, Brigham and Women's Hospital (BWH) is a major teaching affiliate of Harvard Medical School. BWH is a respected leader in tertiary and quaternary care, and provides comprehensive women's health services, including the largest obstetrical program in Massachusetts. BWH has consistently been named one of the country's best hospitals by U.S. News and World Report. Over the last ten years, BWH has been either the largest or second largest non-university recipient of research funding from the National Institutes of Health.
