Mission Statement

Norcal is a non-profit organization, whose mission is to rescue and place adoptable golden retrievers in Northern California in safe loving homes; thereby improving the lives of both the dog and the adoptive household.

Description

Norcal takes in purebred golden retrievers and finds homes for them. We work with shelters and law enforcement as well as private families. The dogs are given medical care, including spay/neuter and vaccinations.

All of our adopters have a home visit so that we can talk with them to determine the best match for both the family and the dogs that are available. All of our dogs are kept in private foster homes. We believe this gives us insight that helps us make better decisions on placements.
