Mission Statement

The Young Marine mission is to promote the mental, moral, and physical development of young americans. All of its activities emphasize the importance of honesty, courage, respect, loyalty, dependability, and a sense of devotion to God, country, community, and Family.

Description

Currently we have 30 new recruits and 81 established Young Marines with this Temescal Canyon unit. The recruits must successfully process through a twelve week boot camp before they can bestow the honor of being a dedicated and loyal Young Marines. This group is chartered as a Youth educational non-profit organization. Our motto is "the youth is our future" We stimulate an interest in and have respect for academic achievement and the history and traditions of the United States of America. We also Promote Physical fitness and a drug-free lifestyle through a continual drug prevention education program.
