Description

Batavia Artists Association at Water Street Studios is a 501c3 not-for-profit organization devoted to expanding art in Batavia and the surrounding communities. By converting an historic limestone building in downtown Batavia we have created an amazing 16,000 sq ft arts center featuring 26 artist studios, three classrooms and two premier galleries for showcasing fine art and hosting events such as our Friday Features and Second Saturdays - at the studios. Our gallery is open to the public every weekend. Created by a group of artists, the property owners, city officials, and community members. Water Street Studios offers a community-based arts education program geared towards children, teens, adults and senior citizens - from beginners to experts. It is our philosophy that everyone from preschoolers to seniors can use art in their lives.
