Freedom Road Transportation

Freedom Road Transportation is a non-profit organization that has been working on the transportation problem that exists in Oakland County since 2003. Our new initiative is to implement a volunteer driver program to help individuals who are disabled, low income, as well as, senior citizens. This is needed in order for people to avoid social isolation, attain employment and have accessible transportation to medical appointments, shopping and other recreational activities. The purpose of this effort is to serve the great need 'in the meantime' before a regional transportation program can ber fully implemented throughout Oakland County, Michigan.
