Mission Statement

The mission of the Market is to provide Austin and the surrounding Central Texas region with locally grown foods and farm products in a direct farm-to-consumer marketing venue that will serve diverse populations, promote regional agriculture and improve our quality of life while connecting the downtown and Eastside communities through farmers, artisans, community projects, and urban consumers.

Description

The goal for this market is to create a weekly community gathering space where local farmers, artisans, community groups, families, and urban consumers can find fresh foods, community programs, artistic creations, agricultural education and wellness workshops. This unique weekly gathering space will be a platform to introduce and educate local artists and Austin residents about surrounding area farms, healthy living, education in the arts and community volunteer programs. The project is a partnership between the HOPE (Helping Other People Everywhere) Campaign, Daily Juice Co., Big Red Sun, Graphic Glass Studios, and HOPE Events Inc.
