Strive For

Description

Strive For is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing group and supporting mentoring to high-potential teenagers in the foster care system. Strive For's mentorship experience is a customizable 24‐month mentorship program that pairs a small number of diverse mentors with a group of teenager youth in the foster care system aged 14‐17. The hallmark of Strive For's innovative experience lies in its emphasis on capturing and enabling existing dreams through a 360° development approach. Strive For offers a holistic, multi-disciplinary curriculum. The program is built on the belief that human beings are like ecosystems, where mind, body, emotions and spirit are all interconnected: a challenge to one part undermines the success of the entire system.
