To supplement the services provided by the hospital staff for the comfort and convenience of the patient and/or visitor.

Description

Hospital volunteers meet new people and make new friends; use their skills and develop new ones; explore health care careers; and share their time and talents. As a volunteer you can feel a sense of accomplishment, and most importantly contribute to the community.

Volunteer responsibilities include

Greeting patients and visitors at the Information Desk.

Assisting in the hospital Gift Shop.

Escorting patients to various departments of the hospital.

Performing clerical duties and much more.

I have not volunteered before at Sutter, so I can only say that I have heard only good things regarding their service to the community and I would like to help them to continue to be a positive influence.
