Since 1980 more than 25,000 high school students have participated in our programs. AYUSA has arranged for over 20,000 bright, young students from 50 countries to spend a semester or academic year living with American host families and attending high schools across the nation. AYUSA is designated by the United States Information Agency (USIA) as an official Exchange Visitor Program. On the basis of materials submitted and reviewed the Council on Standards for International Educational Travel grants AYUSA full listing in the 1999-2000 Advisory List.
