Description

Religious Society of Friends first came to Canada in 1762 and to Ontario in 1790. These pioneers were committed to freedom of worship, peace and simplicity. The direct experience of the Inner Light has been the source of Quaker commitment to social justice, non-violence and simplicity ever since.
