The St. Boniface Haiti Foundation is committed to helping those in need when no one else can. We work side-by-side with the people of Haiti to break the cycle of poverty and alleviate suffering through health care, education and community development. We work with compassion, respect and love for the people and communities we serve.
The St. Boniface Haiti Foundation with headquarters in Randolph, MA supports health care, education and community developement initiatives in rural southern Haiti in an area called Fond des Blancs.
The organization built and operates a 60 bed hospital with over 100 employees. It also has built a satellite clinic in the outer region of Fond des Blancs. Primary focus is on maternal and child health, nutrition and HIV/AIDS. The hospital is currently expanding its focus to treat spinal cord injured patients and reach those affected by the cholera outbreak in 2010.
The organization has built schools and provides educational opportunites for 1500 students within the region at all levels - from preschool through University.
On the community development side the organization has built over 40 homes, 10 water wells, Tilapia Fish ponds and is involved in a host of other community development initiatives.
