Mission Statement

The Plainfield Public library provides a welcoming atmosphere where patrons can meet,
interact, and participate in public discourse in a superior library facility. We offer an
extensive collection of materials in a variety of formats in response to current trends and
interests. We supply information on a variety of topics related to work, school and
personal life. We provide resources to help patrons in their search for personal growth
and development. Finally, we offer materials and services to youth of all ages and adults
who support them.
