VENICE ANIMAL ALLIES is a not-for-profit, all-volunteer organization dedicated to saving homeless cats and dogs and, through our unique hotline, to helping with any animal issues that exist in our community. Here are just a few of the issues that we c an help with: 1. How to safely adopt out an animal. 2. What type of dog or cat is best for you. 3. How to report animal abuse. 4. What to do if you lose or find an animal. 5. Where to find a low-cost spay and neuter clinic or get economic help to s pay or neuter an animal. 6. Information regarding local wildlife: Lists of opossom, bird, tortoise, snake, etc. rescue organizations. 7. What to do with wild (feral) cats. 8. How to get economic help for pet food and vet bills for seniors, disab led, and others on low or fixed incomes..it>
