Mission Statement

The Houghton Book Shop serves book buyers ranging from the budget-conscious to book collectors. In so doing, the shop increases community awareness of Houghton College's programs and supports student scholarship aid as well as promoting general literacy and self-education. The book shop further provides a collegial environment for both community and volunteers.

Description

The Book Shop accepts donations of used books and resells them at very reasonable prices in a bright, clean atmosphere. It is staffed entirely by volunteers, and all proceeds above expenses help provide scholarship assistance to Houghton College students.
