Description
Queens Mediation Services provides conflict-resolution training and mediation services in the borough of Queens. Working in conjunction with Queens Family Court, Criminal Court, and Civil Court, our programs provide a positive alternative to standard court proceeding with the goal of empowering the participants with the skills of collaborative problem-solving. Mediation is a voluntary process in which parties who have a disagreement come to one of our offices to confidentially meet and, with the help of a trained mediator, review their options for the future. Each program of CMS fosters self-determination and creativity within a multi-cultural community.
