Mission Statement
Love Unlimited Ministries, Inc, is a faith-based ministry that provides food, clothing and temporary shelter, with resources for permanent housing and employment to the homeless. We believe that through the power of the Word of God, people can be transferred from alienation to reconciliation. It is the aim of this ministry along with its supporters to minister unto the total man, in hope of returning them into their communities that they might bring hope to others. It is our aim to demonstrate to the community that determined persons of faith and good will can challenge the affects of poverty.

Love Unlimited Ministries, Inc. is a ministry that addresses the needs of the homeless, downtrodden, and often forgotten. This ministry began in 2001 by simply passing out bags of food on Tuesdays and has since grown to operate a 60-day emergency shelter in 2004 and a 30-day emergency shelter in 2006. Because of the vast needs of the people it serves, both physically and spiritually, the ministry has had to go beyond the doors of the church for assistance, even having to relocate into separate office space due to the growing demands of the homeless population. This population has an ever changing face that reflects our whole society from adults to children.
There are approximately 665 persons homeless each night in the city of Norfolk, many with children. The Lord has blessed us to be able to provide housing, clothing, food, and jobs through partnerships with various public and private organizations yet the demand continues to increase.
We place our clients in permanent housing that's suitable to their income and we're covering them with much prayer. Several Christian businesses have called and offered their support by way of a job, but still much help is needed.
Because we're a non-profit, we depend totally on donations that assist us in our office expenses and general operating cost (office supplies, etc). We come to you today asking for your support in helping us to turn someone's life around, restore a lost family, and bring back joy into a child's life.
