Mission Statement

The mission of the American Indian Center of Indiana (AICI) shall be to promote unity and well being among Indiana's American Indians, Alaska natives, and other people indigenous to the United States through personal, economic, social, health outreach and cultural education development; and to promote the strengthening of mutual understanding and respect among Indian and non-Indian people in Indiana.

Description

The American Indian Center serves as a WIA (Workforce Investment Act) center for tribally enrolled American Indian and Alaska native population in Indiana, with the exception of the counties served by the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi in Northwest Indiana.

In addition, we offer referral and resource services for other social barriers such as housing, utility assistance, transportation and food supplementation.
