Rebuilding Together North Texas is seeking a creative and motivated Public Relations Coordinator to help amplify our mission of repairing homes, revitalizing communities, and rebuilding lives. This key volunteer will collaborate with the board to develop and implement strategies that strengthen our connection to the community and promote the impactful work we do. This position is primarily remote but we do require that you be in the DFW area. Key Responsibilities * Community Engagement: * Identify opportunities to connect with local communities, partners, and stakeholders to enhance awareness of our mission. * Represent Rebuilding Together North Texas at community events, fairs, and networking opportunities as needed. * Media Relations: * Draft press releases, media advisories, and other communications to share updates on our projects and events. * Build and maintain relationships with local media outlets to secure coverage of our initiatives. * Content Creation: * Collaborate with team members to create compelling content for newsletters, blogs, and other outreach materials. * Help curate and manage content for social media platforms to engage and grow our audience. * Promotional Campaigns: * Assist in developing campaigns to highlight fundraising events, volunteer opportunities, and community impact stories. * Ensure branding and messaging align with the organization’s mission and values. * Board Collaboration: * Work closely with board members to align PR strategies with organizational goals. * Provide regular updates on PR initiatives and outcomes. Skills & Qualifications * Strong written and verbal communication skills. * Experience in public relations, marketing, or communications is a plus. * Creativity and a keen eye for storytelling to effectively communicate the organization’s mission. * Proficiency in social media platforms and digital marketing tools. * Ability to build and nurture relationships with community members and media professionals. * Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Time Commitment * 5-7 hours per week, with occasional increases around major events or campaigns. We believe in fostering safe and healthy homes and communities for everyone. Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and passionate Salesforce Administrator to join our team as a volunteer. This role involves managing, configuring, and optimizing our Salesforce platform to enhance operational efficiency and support our mission. Key Responsibilities Salesforce Administration: Perform basic user account management, data imports, and reports/dashboard creation. Configuration: Customize Salesforce objects, workflows, page layouts, and fields to meet organizational needs. Connectivity: Manage Salesforce integrations with other platforms and tools used by the organization. Troubleshooting: Resolve user issues and ensure the system operates smoothly. Data Quality: Regularly review and maintain data integrity and cleanliness within Salesforce. Qualifications Experience with Salesforce administration, configuration, and integrations. Knowledge of Salesforce best practices, workflows, and automation tools. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to commit to approximately 10 hours per month. What is a House Captain? A house captain oversees both skilled and unskilled volunteers in performing updates to homes including flooring, painting, drywalling, landscaping, fencing, etc. This includes prepping and finishing. It can also include some light plumping and electric. House captains will also help with the project management of contractors, scoping of projects, site assessments, and material list while doing some pre and post volunteer work as well. Why is this needed? Rebuilding Together North Texas is a non-profit that performs critical home repairs for low income homeowners in the DFW area. Some of this work is performed by contractors and some is done by volunteers. Those volunteers are enthusiastic but may not have the skills and experience needed to work independently. The house captain manages the volunteers to achieve the stated outcomes of the project. What is the schedule? While it can be throughout the year, our primary focus is spring and fall. Projects normally start at 8 AM and finish by 5 PM. Lunch is provided as are all tools, equipment, and supplies. We have weeks with no projects and other weeks with up to 4 project days. What are the qualifications for House Captain? This position requires experience in managing housing related projects and leading others to short term outcomes and it requires experience in home maintenance and repairs. House Captains are expected to value the diversity our volunteers bring. They need to lead from the heart and have patience and treat all people with respect.

Rebuilding Together North Texas is seeking a dedicated volunteer to join our Technology Team and help support our mission of repairing homes, revitalizing communities, and rebuilding lives. Position Overview As a Technology Team Member, you will play a vital role in managing our tech infrastructure, ensuring that our systems and tools run smoothly. You will be working with Board Members that work at Microsoft, Toyota, M3 Films and others. Your efforts will directly support our team and volunteers as we work to provide safe and healthy homes for those in need. Responsibilities - Perform general tech administration tasks, including system access management and configuration. - Support and manage our primary software platforms: - Google Workspace (e.g., Gmail, Drive, Docs) - Salesforce (CRM management) - Social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn). - Participate in the monthly Technology Committee meetings. - Monitor and respond to the Tech Admin mailbox within 48 hours, addressing various technical support requests. Qualifications - Familiarity with Google Workspace, Salesforce, and social media platforms is preferred. - Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. - Commitment to timely responses and collaboration with team members. - Previous experience in IT, tech administration, or nonprofit tech support is a plus but not required. Time Commitment - Monthly participation in the Technology Committee meeting (1-2 hours). - Monitoring and addressing tech requests (flexible, approximately 3 hours/week).
