Ada Regional United Way (ARUW)is a non-profit organization originally established in 1947 as Community Chest. Our mission statement is: To improve lives by coordinating and promoting the caring power in the community. Our vision statement is: To be the "way" in which volunteers, resources, and agencies are "united" to enhance the quality of life in our community. ARUW has become a community building organization, not simply a fund raising entity. We are involved in the entire community.

This was an amazing day. I showed up at 8am to help pass out food and I got finished before 11am. I got to take food out to people's cars, I got to help put groceries in carts for families, and I got to meet so many people that I would never have met before. It was great to bond with the other volunteers too!! It was awesome!! :)
