Description

St. Vincent de Paul Seattle/King County was started in our area in 1920. We are an independent 501(c)(3) organization. We have over 50 neighborhood volunteer groups providing person-to-person in-home visits to people needing help. We prevent eviction, hunger, utility shut-off, and more.

About 90 cents of every dollar in donations goes directly to people. We serve people of every faith, religion, color, creed, sex, and national origin.

We served over 200,000 people in 2012 through home visits, case management, food bank, and related programs.

Over 1,000 volunteers make over 12,000 face-to-face home visits annually helping people.

Our Help Line Call Center manages 45,000 calls a year from people needing help.
