At Disability Network, it's in our power to change everything, from individual lives to the wider community. Every year, we help over 1,200 people with disabilities and their families lead more productive lives in northwest Lower Michigan. But our efforts don't just benefit them. They help everyone, with or without disabilities, who lives in, works in, or passes through our community.
We offer people with disabilities and their family members assistance in:
Employment: Entering the workforce or returning to work after an injury
Housing: Finding affordable, accessible housing, increase housing search skills
Transportation: help adcvocate for improved transportation in the communities we serve
Education/Transition: Developing skills for youth to transition from high school to employment or higher education
Accessibility: Solving accessibility challenges in the home or workplace
Long-term supports: Securing community supports to live as independently as possible in the community
Advocacy: Using your voice to create positive social change
Peer Support: Peer-to-peer mentoring and support
