To increase literacy by providing adult and schoolage students with individual instruction and assistance through volunteer service.

Description

Community Education is a part of the District 518 school district. We provide Adult Basic Education, Family Literacy, and afterschool programs, as well as citizenship preparation courses. Our programs serve a large part of Worthington's immigrant and refugee populations, helping them to improve their language skills, integrate into the community, and become U.S. citizens.
