Mission Statement

The mission of The Youth Cor[ps of America is to provide southern Arizona youth and family's substance abuse and violence prevention that improves the quality of life.

Description

We organize, promote, and fund leadership and prevention activities designed to improve the quality of life for youth and families in Tucson, Arizona and the surrounding communities.

We organize, and fund programs to promote positive living skills, resiliency skills, and improved self-esteem for people in Tucson, Arizona and the surrounding communities.

We will establish a scholarship fund to be called the Krista Ann Valdez, Youth in Action (YIA), to assist in the cost of instructor fees, tuition, equipment, and supplies for The Youth Corps of America, Inc. of Tucson, Arizona.
