Mission Statement

Our Mission: To eliminate pediatric oral disease and promote overall health and well being for millions of children from vulnerable populations.

We seek partners who share our passion to improve the lives of children NOW!

Description

There is a health crisis in our country affecting literally millions of children, causing pain so severe many children have problems eating, sleeping and learning. Because of poor oral healthcare, pediatric dental disease increases insurance and medical costs for everyone, hinders current and future workforce productivity and ultimately impacts our economy.

As part of our country's uninsured, under-insured and often uneducated families, these children did not benefit from pre-natal and infant preventive education for parents. They also do not receive quality dental services, including basic parent/child oral health education to help prevent dental disease.

The most important part of this news is that pediatric dental disease is completely preventable. Eliminating needless suffering of children from this #1 chronic childhood disease is the mission of the National Children's Oral Health Foundation: America's Toothfairy.

In less than 5 years, NCOHF has touched the lives of over 1 million children across the country! NCOHF has already provided its Affiliates over $7 million in funds, donated dental products, educational materials for children of all ages, families and professionals, and a variety of technical resources in order to take this mission to the streets. Affiliates include not-for-profit dental centers, community health centers and university dental schools all across the country.

Because of the generous underwriters who support NCOHF, 100% of all donations made to www.AmericasToothfairy.org go directly to programs that impact the lives and health of America's most economically challenged children.
