Mission Statement

The mission of San Pedro Playhouse is to challenge, enrich and entertain through the experience of live theater and deliver productions of unsurpassed excellence that provide opportunities for artistic expression and development. In keeping with its rich tradition as San Antonio's oldest arts organization, San Pedro Playhouse continues to enhance the quality of life for all of San Antonio and beyond. San Pedro Playhouse is a nonprofit 501 (c)(3) theater providing a full season of musical enrichment, comic delight, and a multitude of dramatic moments to San Antonio audiences.

Description

San Pedro Playhouse is San Antonio's oldest arts organization and its longest running and most successful live theater, producing 11 productions each season on its two stages and a classic selection outdoors each summer in San Pedro Springs Park.

Our programming includes live theatrical productions in two venues - the Russell Hill Rogers Theater, a 400 seat auditorium exhibiting fine and fun musicals and dramas - and the Cellar Theater, an intimate 60 seat theater exhibiting edgy dramas and hysterical comedies. We also have innovative and creative children's programs including Troupe, Troupe Jr., Curtain Up!, Broadway Headliners and Camp Broadway.
