Our Vision is to make an everyday difference in the quality of life for all people with diabetes. The ADA works to achieve its vision and reach its mission by conducting programs in research, information, and advocacy. In order to conduct these programs most effectively, we reach people by providing authoritative information about diabetes and its treatment; we raise funds by providing the opportunity for donors to make a difference by financially supporting our cause and by recognizing our donors as the primary means by which we achieve our mission; and, we recruit high quality volunteers and staff to achieve the objectives of the Association by remaining true to our core values, practicing the behaviors that support them, and recognizing volunteer and staff achievements.
