Mission Statement

Specialty Purebred Cat Rescue is a 501c3 NON-PROFIT organization dedicated to finding quality homes for abandoned/surrendered purebred cats in the Midwest.

Description

Specialty Purebred Cat Rescue is a 501c3 NON-PROFIT organization celebrating 10 years of finding quality homes for abandoned/surrendered purebred cats in the Midwest. We are the largest rescue organization of its kind in the midwest, and we are well-known and respected throughout the animal sheltering community.
Our group, composed of wonderful volunteers who generously open their homes and hearts to abandoned and abused purebred cats work closely with shelters and other rescue groups to take in and find homes for the surprisingly large number of purebred felines who find themselves in bad situations. Foster homes are located in northern Illinois, and in Kenosha, Racine, Burlington, Milwaukee, Madison and Oshkosh in Wisconsin. Cats are seen by appointment only after an adoption application has been filed and approved
