Our mission is to empower and assist individuals, families and groups in the Diocese of Lexington to improve their quality of life. Services offered include affordable mental health counseling, free pregnancy counseling and education, adoption, emergency financial assistance and services to ex-offenders.

Description

A non-profit social service agency sponsored by the Catholic Diocese of Lexington, Kentucky. Its mission is to empower and assist residents of the Diocese to improve their quality of life. Services are provided without regard to faith affiliation. Most clients are not members of the Catholic Church. Established in 1988, the Agency currently provides service in three program areas: affordable mental health counseling, free pregnancy counseling and emergency assistance. In addition, CCL is a licensed adoption agency. The Agency maintains two offices, a main office in Lexington and a branch office in Prestonsburg, Kentucky. Approximately 1,347 individuals were served by the Agency in fiscal year 2007-2008.
