Mission Statement

Our House Families provides a continuum of services for families in crisis preventing homelessness and restoring the homeless.

Description

The emphasis of OHF is four-fold: (1) feeding the hungry through a network of food closets; (2) providing information and referral services for residents in need; (3) providing emergency shelter for Chesapeake families, and (4) providing crisis financial assistance to Chesapeake families in crisis.

An individual from the organization emailed an application and left a phone message to speak with me about volunteering at the organization. I returned the application and phone call. No one responded to my application or phone message.
