Our services combat the effects of poverty and violence on our clients by supporting their capacity to function in the community and meet their most basic human needs. Thes needs include housing, food, medical care, personal safety, and family stability.

Description

Founded in 1970, De Novo: Center for Justice and Healing provides free civil legal assistance and sliding scale mental health counseling to people with low incomes throughout the Greater Boston area. De Novo has always been an organization of volunteer professionals. Since our inception, we have been sustained by the commitment and dedication of volunteer lawyesr and mental health professionals. Our unique interdisciplinary approach has enabled De Novo to keep paces with the ever-changing and inter-related needs of our clients.
